New Century Careers’ mission is to develop a skilled manufacturing workforce for southwestern PA through its programs: The Manufacturing Industry Partnership of SWPA and its subsidized training opportunities for incumbent workers; Manufacturing 2000 entry level machinist  training;    Re-Engineering Advanced Manufacturing Careers grant to help employers bridge the skills gap for potential new employees; BotsIQ battling robot pipeline program for high school students, and administration of the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) apprenticeship program.
